On airport car park work starts

Work on a major on airport car parking project is starting at Aberdeen Airport, which is the latest stage in the redevelopment of the hub. The work is set to begin on an area of the short-stay car park, which will clear space for work to start on a new parking deck.
The £5m multi-storey car park will provide about 500 additional spaces. The airport wants to further expand its car parks after this project is complete, plus build two new airport hotels. This is in addition to a new off airport car park with just over 1000 spaces, which received planning approval last month.
