Aberdeen Airport grows faster than Edinburgh and Glasgow

Aberdeen airport's grew the fastest of BAA's Scottish operations in the year to April in terms of passenger numbers passing through the terminal. Passengers increased by 9.9% at Aberdeen Airport to just under 3 million
Despite the excellent increase, the airport's managing director, Andy Flower, claims Aberdeen has not yet reached its potential. He said that BAA Aberdeen has a strategy to grow the airport, promote the north-east as a business and leisure destination and to provide more choice of international destinations.
