Airport has busy conference week

Thousands of passengers travelled through Aberdeen Airport last month to take part in Offshore Europe. The popular conference saw more than 82,000 passengers use the hub in a week. However, this was 10,000 fewer than in 2007 for the same event.
Kevin Brown, managing director of Aberdeen Airport, said the figures were ‘very encouraging. It was an incredibly busy week and a lot of hard work went in to preparing it.'
