BAA back campaign to safeguard Heathrow flights

Executives at Heathrow Airport have voiced their support for a campaign to keep flights to and from Aberdeen, the Evening Express reports.
The executives are backing a bid by regional transport partnership Nestrans to safeguard flights to and from Heathrow Airport. Nestrans has warned there is a ‘real threat’ of losing landing slots at the London hub to more lucrative long-haul flights, because of a lack of capacity at the airport.
