Strongman fails plane pull challenge

A strongman failed in his bid to drag a 20-tonne plane along Aberdeen Airport’s runway. Steve Evans managed to pull the Saab 2000 airliner forward by a foot during the challenge at the airport.
The strongman said he was ‘devastated’ not to have met his target of dragging the plane 65ft along the runway. He said he thought he may have attached the tow rope to the wrong point on the plane, making it harder for him to get going. Steve promised he would take part in the challenge again.
