A man has appeared in court after two stun guns were seized from a passenger at Aberdeen Airport this week. Aberdeen Sheriff Court heard yesterday that Spencer Henderson was stopped by UK Border staff when he arrived on a flight from Thailand on Monday.
Mr Henderson, forty one, of Beauly Place, Fraserburgh, had arrived from Bangkok, by way of Amsterdam. A search of his baggage at Aberdeen Airport revealed the two stun guns and he was charged with being knowingly concerned in the illegal importation of firearms. He admitted the offence and was remanded in custody for reports before sentencing.
