Passengers parking at Aberdeen Airport will have a clearer view of what they are doing, thanks to new lighting. FHR reports that the forecourt at the airport has been fitted with 120 watt LED fittings on 10 metre columns. The lights were fitted to help passengers and also for security reasons.
The new lights will last over 30 years, the fittings have a life span of 100,000 hours and they will cut 55 percent off operating costs. A spokesman said the light change was the difference between ‘night and day’, adding the lighting quality was ‘superb’.
