Two in court over flight disturbance
21.10.07
A man and a woman were in court last week over an incident on a flight from Norwich to Aberdeen Airport in August. The man admitted being drunk on a plane and pestering a stewardess, whilst the woman denied similar charges.
Billy-Joe Fraser, 22, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court and admitted being drunk and breaking the peace. Mr. Fraser, of Mains Street, Gardenstown, Banff, admitted he acted in a disorderly manner towards the air hostess by repeatedly asking for a drink after being refused.
Appeared alongside him, Karen Hendry denied a string of charges. Ms. Hendry, 26, of Bonnymuir Place, Aberdeen, denies being drunk on the flight, acting in a disorderly manner towards two air stewardesses breaking the peace at Aberdeen Airport and at Grampian Police HQ.
Sentence was deferred on Mr. Fraser until October 25. Ms. Hendry is due to appear for trial on the same date.
