Airport boss invites unhappy passengers for talks
21.10.07
Travellers with gripes about Aberdeen Airport are being invited to tell its managing director about them in face to face meetings. Kevin Brown wants to meet customers to hear their views on the terminal, with people who have made complaints receiving personal invitations to the sessions.
In addition to time with the airport's top man, the unhappy customers will receive a tour of the airport to see the ongoing work to improve the facilities and will have a briefing on future development plans for the site. The events will be held twice a month.
Mr Brown said: 'It's nice to receive compliments, but it's much more helpful to get comments on where we can improve. On a daily basis we speak to our passengers, asking for their honest opinions on how we are doing in terms of security, queue waiting times, cleanliness, airport car parking and general facilities.'
'From the feedback received, we endeavour to improve services to meet the requirements of those who travel through Aberdeen Airport. I am keen to expand this feedback loop to include members of the public outside the airport, as their views are just as important to me - and fundamental to the airport's aim to meet the needs of the travelling public.'
