Passenger denies air rage charges

A man has appeared in court to deny charges of being drunk and abusive on board a plane bound for Aberdeen from Heathrow Airport earlier this year.
Andrew Doughty, 39, of Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, is accused of shouting, swearing and spitting during the flight in August. He also faces disorderly conduct charges at both Aberdeen Airport and Grampian Police headquarters. The case will return to Aberdeen Sheriff Court in February.
