Monarch scrap Malaga flights

Monarch has announced that it is to scrap its flights from Aberdeen Airport to Malaga, The news comes just two years after the holiday airline launched the route, with a spokesman saying that the service was no longer viable.
The route will continue to operate until October 27, when Monarch launch their winter schedule, after which it will be dropped. However, a number of flights will operate over the Christmas and New Year period - on December 22, 26 and 29 and January 2, 5 and 7.
Passengers booked to travel after October 27 will be contacted and offered a full refund.
