Lufthansa announce Frankfurt flights

Lufthansa is to launch a new three times daily service between Aberdeen Airport and its Frankfurt hub on October 30. Operated using a 100-seater Embraer E190 aircraft in a two-class configuration, the flights have been timed to allow passengers to access onward connections to Lufthansa’s worldwide network, which offers 13,304 flights a week to 211 destinations in 84 countries.
A Lufthansa spokesman said: ‘This new service to Europe’s oil and energy capital is a direct response to business passenger demand. It will strengthen Lufthansa’s position in the world’s oil and energy markets, where we serve almost eight destinations in Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia and the Americas.'
One-way fares on the route are from £49 (return £89), inclusive of taxes and charges.
