Dublin flights take off
29.03.11
Aer Lingus Regional - Aer Arann operating flights on behalf of Aer Lingus - launched flights between Aberdeen and Dublin this week. It is the first Aer Lingus connection between Aberdeen and Ireland, and allows Scottish passengers to take advantage of onward connections from Dublin to New York and Boston. The flights between Aberdeen and Dublin will operate every day except Saturday.
Aberdeen Airport Managing Director Derek Provan said: ‘It is exciting to see the new service get underway. Not only does it provide another connection to Dublin, which is a very popular destination, but being able to link to US flights and clear US customs in Dublin before you arrive on American soil is an attractive proposition. It provides a terrific new hub choice and opens up North America to the North East of Scotland passenger.'
