30.08.07
Airline bmi is to operate an extra return flight each day between Aberdeen Airport and Manchester from next Monday (September 3). The additional flight will see the airline operate 14 flights each weekday between the two cities.
Peter Kenworthy, commercial director at bmi regional, said: 'We are delighted to be introducing this additional service between Manchester and Aberdeen, extending the choice of flight times for travellers, and making it the most frequent scheduled service at our home base of Aberdeen. The extra flight is being launched to coincide with the opening of the global oil and gas exploration event in Aberdeen - Offshore Europe.'
Also from Monday the airline is retiming some services between Manchester and Edinburgh and Glasgow to improve schedules for passengers.
